Neuroradiology of brain tumors has changed significantly during the past years. Today, a multifunctional approach using different MRI techniques allows a deep view into microstructural changes of tumor and brain. This article gives an overview of the new MRI techniques and shows future developments in functional MR imaging.ZusammenfassungDie Neuroradiologie eines Hirntumors hat sich von der rein morphologischen zu einer funktionellen Technik weiterentwickelt. Verschiedene MR-Techniken erlauben heute einen tiefen Blick in die mikrostrukturellen Veränderungen von Tumoren und Hirngewebe. Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über die heute verfügbaren MR-Techniken und zeigt einen Ausblick in zukünftige Weiterentwicklungen.
