ZusammenfassungZahlreiche neurologische Erkrankungen sind mit Schluckstörungen assoziiert, allen voran der Schlaganfall. Deshalb sind neurogene Dysphagien von großer epidemiologischer Bedeutung. Grundlage für eine erfolgreiche Behandlung sind daher gute Kenntnisse über die klinische Anatomie dieses komplexen sensomotorischen Vorgangs und über die wichtigsten Verfahren zur Diagnostik und Therapie neurogener Dysphagien.
