Abstract In the framework of the bifurcational theory of the formation of celestial bodies (galaxies, stars, planets and their satellites) the relationship between the total mass of a body and the averaged mass of its constituent particles, responsible for the hydrodynamical equilibrium at the moment of separation of a body, is derived.
