Abstract Growth of conductive Polypyrrole on the surface of sulphonated Polyethylene films dipped in a Pyrrole/FeCl 3 water solution was carried out. Results on morphology and microanalysis of the thin conducting layers using SEM, EDX and XPS and electrical conductivity data are discussed.
