The steadily increasing number of computer term and acronyms is one of the few entities which can outdistance the rate of inflation. “Computerese” and “cybercrud” describe the jargon associated with the use of computer technology. In Up The Organization (1978), Robert Town end uggests that computer technicians “are complicator” not simplifiers … They're building a mystique, a prie thood, their own mumbo-jumbo ritual to keep you from knowing what they-and you-are doing, But is all this confusion really necessary?
