What is a project?

Think of projects as folders under which you can easily group a number of references. When creating an account on Citationsy, projects represent a group of references that you collect under the same title. For example, if you are writing an essay and want to create a reference list or bibliography, you can create a project under which you then add all the references.

  • Projects can only have one referencing style at a time (i.e. APA 7th Edition, MLA 8th Edition, Chicago)
  • Projects can be displayed in any referencing style even after all the references have been added. You simply need to select the citation style you want to display your references in.
  • Projects can be made public and therefore sharable through our short links, for example: Johann’s Favorite Books
