Osetřeni vena saphena magna a parva akrylatovým lepidlem je jednou z nejnovějsich technik. Použiva modifikovaný cyanoakrylat. V clanku jsou rozebrany soucasne poznatky o osetřeni varixů cyanoakrylatem, mechanismus polymerizace a degradace cyanoakrylatu, jeho vlastnosti, rizika spojena s aplikaci, výsledky dostupných studii, toxicita a histokompatibilita, respektive poznatky o reakci cevni stěny na cyanoakrylat.
